Stopped by this amazing place yesterday for an early dinner. Food was awesome! We had the cornbread muffin with herbed bourbon butter, fresh fried mozzarella with hot marinara, the incredible maple glazed pork tenderloin mac and cheese and the delicious pear and goat cheese salad. Didn’t save room for dessert so we took a piece of pie home with us! Our hostess/server/bartender Rosie was fabulous! If she isn’t the manager/owner for this place, she should be! Beer was cold and my Bloody Mary was exceptional! This place is a must visit from my perspective! Can’t wait to visit next summer and sit on the patio after a great day on the nearby bike trail!
The Brass Anvil is my new favorite restaurant. The only downside is, the distance it is from where we live. We had an amazing experience. I loved the atmosphere and the food was outstanding! The meats were all tender and seasoned very well. The pasta was homemade as well as the sauces. Even the butter for my lobsters was blended with champagne. Zachary was our waiter, and he was delightful. All of us can't wait to come back.
Sat outside. Moved 3 times because of rain and a wobbly table. But! Food was delicious . Came here for my parents 35th wedding anniversary. Parents got steaks, one wasn't done enough for her tastes but they were quick to remedy. All the shareables are worth the extra bit. I had the rainbow trout and the seasoning was divine. Would come again hoping for a more relaxing atmosphere (and not the restaurants fault) just the happenstance. Also order desert if you can?
The Cuban Special was very filling. The Ryno Burger was 1/2 pound burger, 2 patties, and was delicious. The grilled cheese and tomato bisque soup was perfect for the nostalgia feeling of being a kid, adding bacon to it enhanced the nostalgia feeling. And the trout on the skillet with the vegetables was very elegant. Jason our server was very attentive and on point. 10/10 highly recommend.
My new favorite restaurant in Carbondale! Delicious food and cocktails, very hospitable staff, and stunning environment. As someone who works in the industry, I felt like I was well taken care of. Will definitely be back!
Stopped by after a First Friday event and while the place was slammed, service was great. The host sat us quickly without a wait. Jake (our server) killed it, coursing out our meal, checking in when he could and just being overall super helpful. The food was also delicious, the only reason I left 4 stars for food was because one of the appetizers (bison meatballs) was a little over cooked (tasty but dry) and the apple pie dessert was not very warm. Atmosphere is lovely from the lighting to the furniture & decor to the music that they played. Really a fantastic experience and one of the best dinners we've had out in the valley for quite some time.
